Shopping on Skye

For lovers of shopping, Skye offers unique local products alongside standard supermarket fare. For your daily shopping needs head for Broadford, the second largest town on Skye. It is only eight miles away and has everything you need – a supermarket, bank, post office and shops. Further north, the island’s capital of Portree combines multi-coloured harbour front houses with a larger range of shops. However, you’ll soon find that you can buy really unique Skye crafts and gifts all over the island.
